  • If you are an Executor named in a Will, you may need to obtain a Grant of Probate to realise the assets and to pay any debts of the Estate.
  • If there is no Will and you are next-of-kin, you may need to obtain a Grant of Letters of Administration.
  • If you have been left out of a Will and believe you may have a genuine claim against the Estate, we assist you with a claim under the Family Provision Act 1982.

WILLS

WILLS

No matter your age, it is important to have a Will.

Pauline will take the time to listen to you so that your Will truly reflects your wishes.

You should consider whom you wish to be Executor/Trustee and whom should be guardian for any children under 18 years of age.

POWERS OF ATTORNEY

POWERS OF ATTORNEY

It is a good idea to appoint someone as your Attorney to manage your legal and financial affairs in your absence. An Enduring Power of Attorney continues if you become unable to manage your own affairs due to an accident, ill health or old age.

ENDURING GUARDIAN

ENDURING GUARDIAN

Health is always important but never more so when you are no longer able to make your own decisions.

We can prepare an Appointment of Enduring Guardian in which you make clear what decisions you wish your Enduring Guardian to make for you eg where you live, what health care you receive, whether you wish to be kept alive on life support.

Your Enduring Guardian should be someone you trust to carry out your wishes even though they may not be their wishes.
